FEATURES & CHANGES
- Added multi-screen support.
- Freetouch now supports four different display scenarios:
- Single-screen layouts
- Matrixed (gridded) multi-display layouts
- These appear to Windows/Freetouch as a single large desktop (i.e. NIVIDIA Mosaic or AMD Eyefinity) and function in the exact same manner as Single-screen layouts. All multi-display controls are disabled.
- Extended Desktop multi-display layouts
- Individual displays configured in an "Extended Desktop" scenario in Windows appear to both Windows/Freetouch as a series of individual displays. In this configuration, Freetouch can be configured to run in Fullscreen mode (stretched across all display) or can be constrained to a single display.
- Mixed (mismatched resolutions/orientations) multi-display layouts
- In these configurations, there is often a single touch-based display and one or more passive displays, often in different resolutions and orientations. Freetouch will properly recognize and respond to display scaling on individual displays to maintain proper cursor size across displays with different display scalings.
- In all multiple display scenarios (Extended Desktop & Mixed), you may now separately specify on which screen the QR code appears and on which screen the cursor is constrained to (in addition to selecting Fullscreen).
- Freetouch now supports four different display scenarios:
- Redesigned Control Panel - "QR Code" and "Cursor" now have distinct tabs
- Changed QR Code positioning behavior to enable specifying a specific on-screen corner from which to offset the cursor location
- Addressed a critical issue whereby Freetouch could become unresponsive when attempting to reconnect to the cloud relay network
- Various stability enhancements and bug fixes
BREAKING CHANGE
This new build shifts from using logical pixels for positioning the QR code to physical pixels - this was required in order to properly support different display scaling settings across displays. This may result in existing QR code position and size values shifting from their previous settings. After updating to 1.1 you should confirm your settings and hit "Save & Restart" to ensure that the new values are properly recognized. If necessary, you may need to "Restore Defaults."
